Win with South Western Railway and Hobbledown Heath Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are subject to any other terms and conditions provided on this website.

The Competition

1. The competition promoter is First MTR South Western Trains Limited trading as South Western Railway (“SWR”, “we” or “us”) a company established in the UK with a registered office address at 8th Floor, The Point, 37 North Wharf Road, London W2 1AF. Registered in England and Wales, company number: 07900320.
2. The title of the competition is ‘Win 4 tickets to visit Hobbledown Heath Santa’s Grotto experience, worth up to £130′.
3. The competition will run from 26th February 2025 until 23:59 on 31st March 2025. All entries must be submitted before the Closing Date and entries submitted after this time will be automatically disqualified.
4. SWR reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition at any time.

Competition entry

1. Entry is free of charge and no payments are required to participate To enter fill in the form and submit an answer to the multiple-choice question provided.
2. The competition is only open to those who are 18 years or over and who are residents of the UK. Proof of identity and age may be required.
3. The Company’s employees and their immediate families, the Company’s agents and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw are not eligible to take part.
4. The Company reserves the right to check the validity of any entry. Entries failing to comply with these rules may not be accepted.
5. Proof of website submission will not be accepted as proof of entry and no responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed for whatever reason, including without limitation due to computer, network and/or user error.
6. Entrants may enter only once.

The Prize

1. The prize is: Two prizes each consisting of 4 entry vouchers to visit The Tulip Patch at Hobbledown Heath, plus either 4 tickets to visit Hobbledown Heath or 4 All Inclusive Passes to Gripped
2. There are two prizes, each prize includes: Tulip Patch plus either Day Admission for up to 4 people at Hobbledown Heath, or 4 All Inclusive Passes for Gripped located at Staines Road, Hounslow TW14 0HH the visit to the Tulip Patch and either Hobbledown or Gripped must take place on the same visit date.
3. The prize must be redeemed by 30th May 2025.  This date may be changed by the promoter or the promotion partner.
4. The winner will need to book their prize by confirming by email their proposed date for the prize visit on an available Tulip Patch open date once these dates are available.
5. Visit dates are strictly subject to availability and the Tulip Patch opening times and dates are subject to availability – likely to be early – mid April 2025.
6. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, travel and food and drink on the day are not included within the prize and no tulip stems are included in this prize package.
7. Car parking is available on site at Hobbledown Heath, there is a charge of £1.50 per hour.
8. Height restrictions apply to Gripped – please check website for details and a waiver must be completed before visiting.
9. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable
10. Travel not included.

Winner selection

1. The winner of the prize will be selected at random from eligible entrants.
2. The winner(s) will be notified within 48 hours of the closing date. The winner will be notified by SWR via the email address entered on the competition form.
3. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within a week of the closing date or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Company reserves the right to offer the prize to any other eligible entrant.
4. To request the name and county of the winners, please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to South Western Railway, 4th Floor, South Bank Central, 30 Stamford Street, London, SE1 9LQ within one month of the Closing Date.

Exclusion of liability

In so far as permitted by law, the Company shall not be responsible for and shall not cover nor insure any entrants and or the winner, and third parties from and against any and all actions, claims, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, fines, judgements, costs, charges and expenses of whatever kind and nature relating to the credit and prizes in any way.

General

1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Company may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
2. The Company is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Data Protection Act and apart from fulfilment of the prize for the winner will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent. 3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
