The Competition

1. The competition promoter is First MTR South Western Trains Limited trading as South Western Railway (“SWR”, “we” or “us”) a company established in the UK with a registered office address at 8th Floor, The Point, 37 North Wharf Road, London W2 1AF. Registered in England and Wales, company number: 07900320.
2. The title of the competition is ‘Win one of two pairs of tickets to the London Eye!”
3. The competition will run from                                                                                     26/02/25 until 23.59 on 31/03/25  All entries must be submitted before the Closing Date and entries submitted after this time will be automatically disqualified.
4. SWR reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition at any time.

Competition entry

1. Entry is free of charge and no payments are required to participate To enter fill in the form and submit an answer to the multiple-choice question provided.
2. The competition is only open to those who are 18 years or over and who are residents of the UK. Proof of identity and age may be required.
3. The Company’s employees and their immediate families, the Company’s agents and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw are not eligible to take part.
4. The Company reserves the right to check the validity of any entry. Entries failing to comply with these rules may not be accepted.
5. Proof of website submission will not be accepted as proof of entry and no responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed for whatever reason, including without limitation due to computer, network and/or user error.
6. Entrants may enter only once.

The Prize

1. The prize: x2 pairs of standard ticket(s) to the London Eye.
2. Excludes entry on selected peak dates including Valentines Day, Christmas Day, Bank Holidays and during shutdown period. The London Eye reserves the right to restrict further dates.
3. The prize must be redeemed within 6 months.
4. The prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets cannot be exchanged for any other experience or for monetary value.

6. The Promoter of this competition is Merlin Entertainments Limited, a global entertainments company, with its principal office at: Link House, 25 West St, Poole BH15 1LD
7. Employees of Merlin Entertainments and their family members are not eligible to win this competition.
8. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
9. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any costs, expenses, loss or damage suffered by the Winning Entrant arising out of the use of the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or that of its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. The prize is as above. No cash alternative to the prizes is offered. The Promoter reserves the right to change the prizes for a prize of equal or higher value in the event of unforeseen circumstances, or if the prize offered is inappropriate due to the age of the Winning Entrant.
11. Entry implies acceptance of these rules.
12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising under these terms and conditions.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend this competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

Winner selection

1. The winner of the prize will be selected at random from eligible entrants.
2. The winner(s) will be notified within 48 hours of the closing date. The winner will be notified by SWR via the email address entered on the competition form.
3. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within a week of the closing date or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Company reserves the right to offer the prize to any other eligible entrant.
4. To request the name and county of the winners, please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to South Western Railway, 4th Floor, South Bank Central, 30 Stamford Street, London, SE1 9LQ within one month of the Closing Date.

Exclusion of liability

In so far as permitted by law, the Company shall not be responsible for and shall not cover nor insure any entrants and or the winner, and third parties from and against any and all actions, claims, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, fines, judgements, costs, charges and expenses of whatever kind and nature relating to the credit and prizes in any way.

General

1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Company may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
2. The Company is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Data Protection Act and apart from fulfilment of the prize for the winner will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent. 3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
